Featured Artist – Carrie Weaver Photography

KMLC- What was it about photography that drew you in and made you decide to pursue it?
Carrie – My children are what brought me to my love of photography. I started out wanting to capture all there moments….and it all grew from there.

KMLC- Define your artistic style?
Carrie – Im not sure I have a particular style, I love casual images that full of laughter. I always have lots of sun and warmth to my work.

KMLC- Where do you find your motivation to grow, be creative and unique?
Carrie -I have amazing photographer friends who help me in my growth. They are always there to help me during a struggle. My own children are often what bring my ideas and creativity!

KMLC -Being a business owner can pose many challenges, tell us how you find balance between your business, art and your personal life.
Carrie – Finding that balance is my biggest struggle right now. Making sure i have time to work, spend time with kids and keeping a balance is so hard!

KMLC- Tell us about these images.
Carrie – I collaborated with my dear friend Melissa Toma, owner of Mosaic Photography for this session. We had so much fun w the theme!

KMLC – We all want to know, what’s in your bag?
Carrie – A canon Manon 5D Mark Two, 85mm, 50mm, 35mm, and a 15mm fish eye.
